Does Instirio work with Shopify?
Yes, Instirio has a native Shopify App Store integration with full feature coverage. After you click “Approve” on the install screen, Halia begins syncing orders, refunds, shipping, and product data within seconds. Most stores see their first finding inside 5 minutes.
How long does setup take?
Under 5 minutes for any supported platform. Shopify is the fastest at ~60 seconds via the App Store install. WooCommerce, ShipStation, Stripe, ShipBob, and Amazon each take 2–3 minutes, you sign in to the platform, grant Instirio read-only access, and the historical sync runs in the background.
Will Instirio change anything in my store?
No. Every integration uses read-only access. Halia reads your data but cannot create, update, or delete anything in your storefront, payment processor, or shipping system. You can revoke access at any time and your data leaves Instirio within 30 days.
What if my platform isn’t on the list?
Any platform that can send a webhook can connect to Instirio in 5 minutes. Generate a webhook URL inside Instirio, paste it into your platform’s settings, and use the Data Mapping screen to match your custom statuses (like “shipped” or “fulfilled”) to our 16 standard events. No code required.
Can I connect multiple platforms at once?
Yes, and you should. Halia is most useful when it can see across systems. A typical setup: Shopify for orders, Stripe for payments, ShipStation for fulfilment, ShipBob for 3PL. Halia stitches the events together by order ID into a single timeline and detects patterns that none of those tools could catch alone.
What data does Instirio read?
Order events (created, paid, packed, shipped, delivered, refunded), product details (SKU, category, supplier), shipping detail (carrier, zone, cost, transit time), and payment events (success, decline, refund). Instirio never reads customer personal information beyond what’s required to identify an order, no email addresses, no payment card details, no addresses except postal code.
How secure is the integration?
SOC 2 Type II in progress. Every API key is encrypted at rest with AES-256, every connection uses OAuth or HMAC-signed webhooks, and we use read-only scopes everywhere a platform offers them. Detailed security architecture is on the Security page.
